Staple Shopping List

I wanted to compile a shopping list for people just starting out. This list will consist of items that are consistently used for clean eating.

Brown rice
Whole wheat bread (Trader Joes read ingredients)
Whole wheat pasta
Lean ground turkey
Boneless skinless chicken
Fish
Lots of fruits and vegetables
Plain non fat Greek yogurt
Honey
Lite coconut milk unsweetened (in the can not in a carton)
Almond milk unsweetened
Non fat milk or 1%
LOW FAT cottage cheese.
Parmesan cheese (Buy the block not shredded)
Mozzarella cheese (Buy the block not shredded)
Eggs
Oatmeal (raw not flavored. those contain sugar)
Raw nuts: Almonds I find are the most commonly used
Seeds: Flax, Chia, Quinoa, Sunflower are commonly used in recipes
Dry beans and legumes
Spices (no seasoning packages) Stick to single herbs
Virgin coconut oil

Just say no to sugar and white grains
